Research and ArtCognito
During our studies and research efforts over the last years we were fortunate enough to be able to experience and apply several in depth: Neuroscience, Cognitive Biology, Artificial Intelligence, Linguistics, Philosophy, Programming and Modeling, Cognitive Psychology, etc. Having both a background in the arts and humanities we found some of the scientific approaches limiting in what they are able to investigate or convey and were looking for a new framework combining approaches, theoretical models and tools from science with the experiential qualities art provides. As we did encounter this as a gap we created Artcognito to cross-breed understanding and engagement between disciplinary boundaries while shedding light on the cognitive processes of perception, semantic enrichment, creation and knowledge-generation.
